The Australian Motorcycling Competition Association (AMCA) is dedicated to promoting and governing AMCA sanctioned off-road motorcycle events across Australia.

With a strong focus on safety and improved accessibility, AMCA aims to provide improved event experiences & value for money while fostering long-term partnerships with landowners to expand racing opportunities.

Beyond Hard Enduro, AMCA seeks to create a sustainable framework for all forms of off-road racing, empowering local clubs and riders under a unified and affordable structure.


Led by experienced professionals - including event organisers, insurance specialists, and legal advisors - AMCA is committed to enhancing event infrastructure, implementing robust compliance frameworks, and securing government support for short-term events.

AMCA is dedicated to growing the sport of motorcycling. This includes the following:

  • Creating an environment that facilitates the establishment of new clubs

  • Assisting clubs to improve their financial position through the AMCA Club Contribution Scheme

Benefits of Affiliation to the AMCA

  • Increased Value for AMCA Competition Licence Holders – Clubs benefit financially as more members obtain an AMCA licence.

  • Event Hosting Incentives – Under the Single Event Competition Licence, clubs earn more by hosting more events.

  • Commitment to Safety – Clubs have a vested financial interest in running safe, claim-free events.

  • Infrastructure Development – Investment contributions allow clubs to improve and expand event facilities.

  • Growth of the Sport – Improved infrastructure and event support attract new members and riders.

Affiliation Process & Fees

  • Clubs must be incorporated associations to affiliate with AMCA.

  • Affiliation fee: $495 per annum (provides access to all benefits).

  • Competition Event Permit Requirement – Affiliated clubs must obtain a Competition Event Permit for each event. $165 / event.

  • Riders must obtain an Annual or Single Event AMCA Licence to participate in events.

  • Rider levies of $12 applies to each rider for each competitive race event.

 

About the AMCA Club Rewards Scheme

The AMCA Club Rewards Scheme incentivises clubs to affiliate with AMCA, increasing the number of events and disciplines under the AMCA banner. This initiative rewards clubs that affiliate and host race events, ensuring long-term sustainability and growth for the sport.

 

Club Rewards

Annual AMCA Licence Contribution

  • For every Annual Competition AMCA Licence purchased, the affiliated club receives a Club Reward of $12 per rider.

  • Riders must nominate one club only when obtaining their AMCA Licence.

  • It is at the discretion of AMCA affiliated clubs if they wish to impose a club membership fee for their club members (reducing fees helps increase and attract new riders to the sport).

Single Event Licence Contribution

  • For each Single Competition Event Licence issued for a club’s event, the club receives an investment contribution of $8 per licence.

  • Single Event Competition Licence holders are not required to join a club (reducing fees helps increase and attract new riders to the sport).

Eligibility for club rewards

  • To qualify for the AMCA club contributions, clubs must meet the following conditions:

  • No personal injury or public liability claims are made for that event.

  • If a rider is hospitalized, they must submit a medical report confirming a clear bill of health and provide a written statement confirming they do not intend to file an insurance claim.

  • If a rider is injured but not hospitalized, they must provide a written statement confirming they do not intend to file an insurance claim.

  • Clubs must submit all injury reports to the AMCA within 48 hours and any rider statements within 24 hours of receipt.

  • No Rider Levies are outstanding to the AMCA.

  • All events and rider registrations are completed via the AMCA management platform.

Payment Timeline

  • The AMCA club rewards will be paid within 21 days of an injury-free event, pending no outstanding Rider Levies.

  • If an injury occurs, payment will be made within 14 days upon receipt of the rider’s clear bill of health and statement.

 

 

 

The AMCA reserves the right to increase or decrease the club contribution payment at any time, it is our intention to ensure the clubs benefit as best as possible.
